Renault Ready To Shake Indian Car Market With Remarkable Launches
It seems that French carmaker Renault do not wants to leave any stone unturned in making its strong presence in all the segments of vehicles that are being sold in the Indian car market. According to authentic sources after witnessing a decline in sales during the recent times, the company intends to adopt an aggressive strategy by launching new vehicles in the market in the price range of Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh, to strengthen its weakening position. Let us have the glimpse of vehicles that would be introduced by the company in the coming months.
Kwid Electric: After compact SUVDuster, the vehicle which can be said as the game changer for the carmaker in the Indian car market is undoubtedly the Kwid hatchback, that was launched to assess the company’s potential in the hatchback segment. The success of Kwid can be understood from the fact that after launching the entry level variant empowered with 800 cc engine, the company soon launched its advanced version energized with 1 litre engine. Now, to en-cash the success enjoyed by the standard version and increasing use of electronic vehicles, the company is going to bring the electric version of the Kwid sometime during the 2021. Although, the engine and other specifications are not yet cleared. But according to the reports the EV Kwid will be offered with full LED headlamps, new bumper at both the front and rear ends.

HBC: The new compact SUV by the carmaker is slated for launch in 2020. It will be developed on CMF-A platform that is also used for developing the cars manufactured by both the Renault and its Japanese partner Nissan Motors. It would be empoewerd with 1.0 litre engine as offered in Kwid and 1.5 litre diesel engine, used on the other diesel vehicles launched by the company. After launch in the Indian car market it will go against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and upcoming Hyundai Venue.

Facelift Kwid: Going through the increasing competition in the segment, the company is going to bring the facelift version of its best selling vehicle Kwid hatchback in the Indian car market. Continuing the existing engine configurations the Kwid will undergo vast cosmetic changes which would be strictly according to existing market conditions.

Facelift Duster: The facelift version of the compact SUV Duster has been one of the highly awaited launches by the French carmaker. Earlier it was rumored that company is going to bring the next generation of Duster in the Indian car market. But, now according to the sources of the company it will launch the facelift version of the compact SUV, with subtle cosmetic updates on the exterior and interior front.

Triber: Recently the first teaser of the MPV Triber has been released by the Renault, thus creating a buzz among the car lovers of soon launching the MPV in the coming months. After launch the Triber will compete against the generation Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Under the hood it is believed to be offered with the same engine configurations that are offered in the Kwid hatchback. Apart from various contemporary features the Tirber will be the first vehicle in the segment that will receive the option of removable third row seat.
