18th Vintage and Classic Car rally Concluded Successfully
Rajasthan often referred as Rajputana due to its patriotic history of its brave rajput warriors is also enriched with abundance of cultural values. To let the people of world know about its glorious history various events are organized in state at regular intervals and organization of Vintage and Classic car rally is one such event which let the car enthusiasts in state and across the world to have a glimpse of historic cars which are considered as ancestors of generation next cars that are driven in today’s period by young car enthusiasts.

The 18th edition of Vintage and Classic car rally was held in Jaipur on January 23rd and 24th 2016 at Hotel Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur under the auspice of Rajputana Automotive Sports Club and Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan and sponsored by Audi. The first day of event witnessed display of about 100 vintage and classic cars among the audiences, the second day that is January 24, 2016 was kept reserved for rally of these cars across the roads of Jaipur.
The car rally commenced from 10.30 A.M onwards with flag off given by Mr. Pankaj Kumar Singh, ADG Police, Gov. of Rajasthan. The price distribution was conducted on same day at evening with cars honored under different categories by chief guest Mr. Gajendra Singh Khimsar (Minister of Industry, Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of Rajasthan) and Shri V.P.Singh Badnore (Member of Parliament, Rajasthan).
