2014 Auto Expo to be held in Feb 2014 in Greater Noida!
2012 Delhi Auto Expo turned out to be a great success, but it sure was immensely chaotic. Therefore, this time around, the organizers have decided to take this awesome Expo to another location. The 2014 Auto Expo will be organized in Greater Noida this time. The Mart in Greater Noida has more space and has better infrastructure than Pragati Maidan. Apart from the location, the next Auto Expo will be organized In February. The Expo will start from 6th February and will go on till 12th February 2014.

The major reason behind the change in dates is because in January it would have clashed with the famous Detroit Motor Show. Therefore, it was best to shift the date. Also, Feb is much less colder in India; therefore it would be easy for the visitors to visit this part of India.
In 2012 Auto Expo, there were many issues, which made it fetch a lot of bad publicity. Some of the major reasons of shifting the location this time are that in the previous Auto Expo, media days were horrible. A lot of chaos was caused due to general public braking in on the media specific days. Also, special invitee passes were distributed amongst the staff and other people in huge number, making the media days more of mayhem. Another thing that caused problem in last Expo was the clotty internet/cellphone connectivity.

2012 Auto Expo also witnessed some ugly scenes, where showgoers harassed the show girls, who were there for posing for numerous bikes and car models. Hopefully, all these problems will be kept in mind for the 2014 Auto Expo and respective measures will be taken to avoid all this mayhem and chaos, which was seen last year.
