2016 Mini Convertible launched in India at Rs 34.90 Lakh
The Indian subsidiary of German Luxury carmaker BMW has launched all new version of Mini Convertible in India with an Ex-Showroom price of Rs. 34.90 Lakh. The new topless Mini Convertible is the fourth vehicle in carmaker existing Indian portfolio after Mini 5 Door, Mini 3 Door and Mini Countryman.
The heart of sporty hatchback is empowered with 2.0 litre Four Cylinder Twin Power Turbo engine that promises a power delivery of 189bhp and a peak torque of 280Nm and is equipped with two transmission system, i.e. six speed automatic transmission system or six speed sports automatic transmission system. The car is capable of touching the mark of 0-100 km/h in the span of 7.1 seconds before reaching a top speed of 233 km/h..
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Mr. Philipp Von Sahr, President, BMW Group India said, "The all-new MINI Convertible is unapologetically outgoing. Brought in India via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route, New Mini Cooper measures 3821mm in length, 1727mm in width and 1415mm in height. Apart from this car features striking new exterior and interior design, a fully electric soft-top, LED lighting, adjustable front seats, Harmon- Kardon hi-fi music system and an electromechanical steering. In terms of safety new 3-door convertible hatch comes with best in class safety features such as Brake Assist, Anti-lock Braking System, Dynamic Stability Control and Cornering Brake Control.
