2017 Hyundai Verna Facelift Details Leaked Ahead of India Launch
Hyundai, the Korean automaker is well known about the taste of Indian car lovers so that it upgraded its all vehicles time to time. The company launched the facelift models of the Grand i10 hatchback and Xcent sedan earlier this year to record more success in the sales. Now, Hyundai is planning to launch the all new Verna facelift in India by the end of this month.
According to the sources, new Hyundai Verna will run on a 1.4L petrol engine, which delivers the power output of 105bhp/135Nm and a 1.6L petrol engine that produces power output of 121bhp/155Nm. On the other hand, diesel variant will also run on a 1.4L and 1.6L powertrain which supply the outstanding power output of 88bhp/220Nm and 126bhp/260Nm, respectively.
The India bound Hyundai Verna will get projector headlamps with daytime running LEDs, chrome surrounded front grille and fog lamps, sports alloy wheels, body colored ORVS with turn indicators to enhance the looks. At the rear, the car will borrow tail lamps from the already available Elite i20. Interiors of the 2017 Verna will have upgraded dashboard with 7-inch infotainment system, comfortable seats and engine push start/stop button to ease in driving.
It is reported that the Verna facelift will be launched with new dimensions. The car will measure 4,405mm in length, 1,729mm in width and 1,469 mm in height, which are 30mm longer, 29mm wider and 6mm lower than current model of the Verna. For the safety purpose, Hyundai Verna might have 6-airbags, reverse parking camera, ABS with EBD, traction control and many others that will make the journey safe for all its occupants.
It is expected that the all new Hyundai Verna will be priced under the range of Rs. 8.5 – 14.0 Lac ex-showroom. To get more about the Verna, stay tuned with us till the official launch in India.
