4 new showrooms to be inaugurated by Volvo in May
Volvo, the Swedish multi-national car maker is going to open four new showrooms in Indian car market during this month through its Indian alliance Volvo Auto India. The upcoming showrooms will be established at West Delhi, Surat, Kolkata and Chandigarh. According to sources of company these showroom will be designed on company’s conventional Scandinavian design where company will be selling the entire vehicles manufactured under its hood.
The dealership proposed to be opened in Delhi will be look after by Swede Auto and Surat would be operated by Autobots, both of them are existing dealers of BMW. The Krishna Group located in Chandigarh will be taking care of the operations operated in Chandigarh, while the dealership in Kolkata would be owned by OSL Scandinavian.
In the words of Mr. Tomas Ernbery, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India, the establishment of new dealership centers is part of company’s philosophy of ‘designed around you’ and their group is happy with establishment of these new four dealership networks in new areas. He also added that company will continue its growth policy in coming years also making the strong presence of company’s brand name strongly across the country. Recently company has upgraded its S60 and XC 60 and is expected to launch upgraded versions of S80 and XC90 also soon in Indian car market.
