4x4 Renault Duster coming in September 2014
The success history of Renault Duster is not hidden from anyone in country, the compact SUV had been the game changer for car maker by setting a new benchmark in the segment. Earlier it was rumored that company might introduce 4x4 version of Duster soon in Indian car market. But now it is reported that going through the excessive demand of customers of 4X4 Duster, company is finally going to launch it sometimes during the month of September this year.
The 4x4 version Duster will be empowered with 1.5 litre diesel engine which would be same as offered in variant of Duster equipped with 110 bhp engine, the power and torque generation efficiency would be same. The 4x4 Duster will be offered in three trims including two wheel drive high, four wheel drive and four wheel drive high. An interesting feature associated with 4X4 version of Duster would be a lock which will transmit the power to all four wheels of the compact SUV sedan.
At present the version of 4x4 Duster being manufactured at company’s production plant located at Chennai is being exported as Dacia Duster to United Kingdom. It would be interested to know that same version of Duster would be launched during the month of September this year in Indian car market. Apart from greasy changes the compact SUV will also go through some cosmetic updates making it look different from the existing model of Duster. As far as price of this variant is concerned nothing has been so far revealed by company and are expected to be disclosed at the time of its launch.
