5 New Vehicles In the Pipeline of Mahindra & Mahindra For Next Year

After the successful launch of next-generation Thar SUV in the Indian car market, domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to keep the Indian car market refreshed with a bunch of new launches. According to reports among these new launches, two would be electric versions of its existing vehicles. The first vehicle from the expected launches during the next year would be facelift version of its best-selling SUV XUV500, which has been one of the keenly awaited launches of the recent times. In its new avatar, the facelift XUV500 will receive a petrol engine along with an option of a manual and automatic transmission system.
 
Speaking about the electric vehicles that the homegrown carmaker is going to launch next year are eKUV100 and XUV300. The company had showcased the electric version of KUV100 during the Indian Auto Expo 2020. The eKUV100 was supposed to make its debut this year, but unfortunately going through the spread of global pandemic Corona, the launch has been postponed for the next year. It is reported that it will be offered with the starting price of Rs. 8.25 lakh and empowered with features like automatic transmission system, remote connections, and fast charging.
 
Mahindra XUV500 Under Production
 
Moving ahead, as far as the launch of electric XUV300 is concerned, the SUV has been caught undergoing the test drive on several occasions. It is developed on the new EV engine MESMA 350 platform from Mahindra, and deliver an average of 350 km on a single charge. The existing version of XUV300 has been honoured as the safest car in India from 2104 to 2020.
 
The fourth vehicle to be launched by the company would be the new generation of its SUC Scorpio. The next generation of Scorpio is also reported to receive the new 2.2-litre mStallion turbocharged petrol engine. It is believed to be launched during the second quarter of the next year after the launch of XUV500 and offered with an option both automatic and manual gear transmission system.
 
The fifth vehicle to make its debut in the Indian car market from Mahindra & Mahindra will be TUV300, which is believed to be empowered with new BS-VI engine with subtle cosmetic changes on the exterior and interior fronts.
