5th Million car rolled out by HMIL
India’s second car manufacturing company Hyundai Motors India, Limited, the Indian division of Korean auto giant today reached another milestone of its successful existence of fifteen years in Indian car market by producing 5 Millionth cars at its production unit located Irrungattukottai, near Chennai. The Korean auto maker started its production in Indian auto market since 1998 and succeeded in ruling over the heart of car enthusiasts in India by producing fuel efficient and well equipped cars.
It would be interested to know that apart from providing superior quality cars to Indian customers, HMIL has also played an incredible role in improving GDP of Tamil Nadu State Government by 4%. With this percentage of Hyundai’s in total exports made by country counts to 46% and holds 20.3% of market in passenger cars within country.
