All new Audi A6 2011 launched in India
Audi India, the leading luxury car maker in the Indian market, has launched its much awaited luxury Sedan A6 in the country. This is the 7th generation of Audi A6 that comes with a promise of delivering a better performance along with leaving lesser carbon footprints in the environment.
The major changes incorporated in the new Audi A6 model include a new sleeker and more appealing exterior, new wraparound dashboard inside and new Quattro four-wheel drive system.

The car has been offered in four engine options including two petrol and two diesel engines. The petrol engines of the car include a 2.8L V6 FSI and a 3.0L Turbocharged FSI engine, delivering a peak power of 201 BHP @ 6500 rpm and 295 BHP @ 6500 rpm, respectively. On the other hand, two diesel versions are powered by a 2.0L TDI Diesel and a 3.0L Diesel engine, generating a peak power of 174 BHP @ 4200 rpm and 241 BHP @ 4500 rpm, respectively. The powerful engines of the car come coupled with Multitronic and stronic transmission system.

The dimensions of the car are as follows - Length - 4915 mm, Width - 2086 mm, Height - 1455 mm, Wheelbase - 2912 mm. The car come blessed with a range of passive and active safety features, ensuring full proof safety of the passengers. These features include Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Hydraulic Brake Assist, ventilated disc brakes in all four wheels and mechanical parking brakes.
