Arun Malhotra to act as new Managing Director of Nissan India
Nissan India has appointed Mr. Arun Malhota as the new Managing Director in board of its director. Mr. Malhotra would be reporting to Mr. Guillaume Sicard, President, Nissan India Operations and would be deputed at company’s sales and marketing headquarters in Mumbai. Mr. Malhotra has vast experience of working in automotive industry for more than 30 years and expertise in determining influential strategies for sales, service, brand building, network expansion, developing beneficial strategies for customers. During his journey of more than 30 years Mr. Malhotra has worked with renowned car manufacturers like MSIL and Bajaj Auto.
While working with Nissan India in new capacity he will be required to develop new business strategies and enhancing company’s performance and strengthening the position of products manufactured under the flags of Nissan and Datsun. Going through his brilliant performance and vast experience in automobile industry it is speculated that Nissan Motors will succeed in making its strong position in Indian car market.
Apart from having a degree of Mechanical engineer, Mr. Malhotra is also an MBA from IIM Kolkata. Before entering in Nissan he was working in Mahindra and Mahindra as head of International sales and marketing for the automotive and farm sector.
