Ashok Leyland to launch Stile MPV in India on July 16
Ashok Leyland Stile, a rebadged version of the Nissan Evalia, will be launched in Indian domestic auto market on 16th July 2013. Ashok Leyland is India's second largest commercial vehicle manufacturer and with launch of the Stile MPV it is going to dive into the passenger car segment too. It is reported that the Stile price will be cheaper than Evalia MPV and it will be made available in three fuel options like diesel, petrol and CNG.

The company has already diesel this MPV at 2012 Delhi Auto Expo and now going to launch officially on 16th July. All models of the vehicle are expected to be priced between Rs 6.50 lakh to Rs 8 lakh. In Indian domestic auto market, the first MPV- Stile by Ashok Leyland will stand up against the Maruti Ertiga, Mahindra Quanto and Chevrolet Enjoy. It is expected to be most welcomed by fleet operators and tourist vehicle operators.
The diesel model of the Stile MPV will share a 1.5L Renault k9k 85 PS engine from Evalia MPV. Meanwhile, the company has not disclosed the specifications of petrol/CNG model of the vehicle. The diesel model of the Stile would become about Rs 50,000 cheaper than the Nissan Evalia's diesel model. It will have styled front fascia and new tail lamps along with some of new features.
