Ashok Leyland Truck Boss launched with price tag of Rs. 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom price)
Hinduja group flagship Ashok Leyland BSE 2.54 % today launched its intermediate commercial vehicle Boss in the Delhi market priced between between Rs 10.5 lakh and Rs 12 lakh. The vehicle will be available in different tonnage segments - 9.6T, 11.9T and 12.9T. It is powered by a 120 HP H-series BS3 complaint engine, Ashok Leyland said in a statement.
Boss is being made at the company's Pantnagar plant. Ashok Leyland said it is targeting customers who are looking for higher-productivity, high-performance vehicles in the ICV (intermediate commercial vehicle) segment with Boss.
"It promises to make our customers more profitable by offering them a tailor-made product solution to meet their needs and will certainly be a game-changer for them," Ashok Leyland Special Director - Distribution Trucks Sandeep Agarwal said.
