Audi A3 and Audi A8 soon to debut in Malaysian car market

It is rumored that the Malaysian arm of German car luxurious car maker Audi is conducting test drives of facelift Audi A3 and A8 in Malaysia indicating that company will soon launch the saloon sedans in Malaysian car market. It is also reported that the company has started promoting the sedan and inviting buyers for queries associated with both saloons.
 
Talking about the architecture of both the vehicles Audi A3 is based on Volkswagen MQB platform and is an extended version Audi A3 sportback integrating Audi’s Bulgarian grille and projector lamps with DRLs. On the other side the facelift Audi 8 has been customized with newly developed bumper, new matrix headlamps and newly designed single piece grille. As far as engine configuration is concerned  company will continue the engine configuration offered in A8L indicating integration of 3.0L TDI, 4.2L TDI, 4.2L FSI and a 6.3L W12 engines for Audi A8 however with lower emissions and high fuel efficiency. The Audi A3 is expected to be empowered with 1.8 litre TFSI engine churning the power of 168 bhp and torque of 320 Nm, while the diesel version is expected to be empowered with 2.0 litre TDI engine developing the power of 141 bhp and torque of 320 Nm.

Company had showcased both the vehicles during Indian Auto Expo 2014, revealing that A3 will be totally imported, but then announced to assemble it locally for Indian car market. On the other side A8 will be brought through CBU . It is expected that soon both the cars will be also launched in Indian car market.
