Audi all set to launch 3 new cars at Auto Expo

Audi India has come up with its new car launch plans in Q3, 2012 that includes the products like Audi S6 and Audi Q3. These cars will also be displayed at Delhi Auto Expo 2012. The Audi S6 sedan is supposed to be launched in the second quarter of 2012. The company is also planning to showcase its electric hybrid car Audi A3 at the Expo.

Besides this, the German auto giant Audi is planning to provide high-performance driving experience to its Indian customers by offering driving sessions at the racing tracks in the Indian market. The form will be organizing its customer driving activities at the Buddha International racing circuit based in the Grater Noida.

During these high-performance driving sessions, the interested customers will be getting an opportunity to test-drive the entire product range of the company including the super luxury car Audi R8. These driving sessions will be given under the supervision of highly skilled and trained instructors. The company has offered the instructor’s roles to the erstwhile competition racing drivers including Rohitaaz Kumar, Aurav Dala, Prithveen Rajan and Aditya Patel.

Audi India is eying to run these high – performance driving sessions for up to 30 days a year, where the instructors will be helping the customers in improving their car control and ways to reach a high speed quickly.

The company had recently organized a racing session at its facility near Chennai, where a number of leading racing drivers were present including the likes of Formula 2 driver Armaan Ebrahim, Oshan Kothadiya who was the runner-up at the Polo Cup 2011, Avdumber Hede, and Munjal Savla. During these shoot-outs, Instructors were using Audi’s high selling Audi A4 and Audi A6 sedans. All of them are also in contention for the role of driving instructors at the Audi’s prospective driving sessions.

It is to be mentioned here that Audi’s arch rival Mercedes Benz has already announced to set-up a driving academy in the Indian market by March 2012. The company will be announcing the names o the proposed drivers at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2012 in the month of January 2012.

Moreover, Japanese auto giants Nissan and Toyota have already shown their interest in marking their debut in the Indian motorsport segment with organizing single brand racing events. While Toyota will be taking this initiative with its racing arm TRD (Toyota Racing Development), Nissan will be introducing NISMO (Nissan Motorsport International Limited). Toyota has already confirmed to organize single brand Toyota Etios Cup in the country, next year.
