Audi honors Pune boy as the best car designer

If in future you come to know that any of the Audi cars were inspired by the design of an Indian boy then there is no point to get shocked as a Pune boy Vijayendra Jadhavrao has been awarded as best designer by Audi. Besides, it has also proved that inventions are not only the domain of workaholic shaggy-haired scientists spending day in and day out in labs. Jadhavrao participated in the Audi India Future of Change auto design competition held in New Delhi and has designed a futuristic concept car that Audi has awarded as the best automobile design.

Jadhavrao did his schooling from Loyola School in Pune and then pursued his graduation from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology. He also learnt the in and out of automobile designing in Germany. The Audi India Future of Change auto design competition came as an opportunity for Jadhavrao and it has given him a platform to prove himself. For Jadhavrao, automobile designing is a passion.

There were over 900 entries for the best automobile design at the automobile designing event and it was after several rounds of tests and technical verifications that Jadhavraos entry was acclaimed as the best automobile design by Audi. Besides Jadhavrao, ten other participants also won in the business strategy content that held at the occasion.

Exhilarated with the award, Jadhavrao now dreams of designing an automobile for India which is different from the existing ones and that caters to all the needs of the people of India. Speaking to the media and other attendees on the occasion, Jadhavrao reportedly said that he will take this as an opportunity to serve his country and that he dreams to design an automobile for the nation.
