Audi India to hike prices from May 1, 2014

Audi India, the Indian division of German car maker has announced to hike the prices of its flagship in Indian car market from May 1, 2014. This hike will be up-to three percent. Answering the reason of price hike sources of Audi said that in current scenario as an impact of regular fluctuations in value of rupee as compared to Dollar, it became imperative for company to hike the prices.
 
Accroding to Mr. Joe King, Head, Audi India, said that although during last year company witnessed satisfactory growth, although during the first three months of this year the market condition continued to be challenging due to fluctuating cost which production cost keeps increasing. He also added that before taking the decision of price hike company had analyzed all the factors very intensively and the hike will have least impact on buyers. Mr. King also informed that to cope with problem of price hike, company has some interesting financial schemes through Audi Finance, making it easier for buyers to buy an Audi car of their choice at an ease.
 
Under its hood Audi sales Audi A4, A6, A7 Sportback, A8L, Q3, Q3S, S4, Q7, Rs5 coupe, Audi S6, Audi TT Coupe, Audi R8 Spyder, R8 V10 Plus and Audi R8. Last year German car maker created an achievement in history of its existence in Indian car market by selling out 10,000 units of Audi car and this year also during the first quarter company has witnessed impressive growth.
