Audi India- A winner all the way!
The Indian car market has been witnessing a tough battle between the German car makers since a long time now. The major competitors here comprise of BMW, Mercedes Benz and Audi. This time around, Audi India seems to be dominating the Indian car bazaar by beating BMW India, which turned out to be the country’s biggest luxury car maker in the month of June. However, the top slot might not be for too long for Audi. The reason behind this might come up as the supply limitations for its SUV, Audi Q3. If these constraints get subsided, there is a possibility that the target of being the top mist on the Indian car market will come true this year itself, instead of its original target of 2014-15.

Audi Q3 has been in great demand since the time of its launch. The SUV got about 500 bookings within 5 days of its launch and the firm has already managed to deliver 300 Q3s in last few months. The 200 units left are expected to be delivered in coming two months.

According to the sources, being at the top spot for Audi India was the target of the year. Instead, the company had planned for the number two spot for 2012 and is aiming for the same so that the opponents get some pressure on.

Recently, Audi India rolled out a new variant of its Audi A8 L sedan, which managed to charm one and all. The firm is currently positive about going over its 8000 units targets in 2012. Audi has happily grown by more than 40% in the Indian car bazaar. In the first half of this year, the company sold about 4000 units of Audi cars, which showed a remarkable growth of 43%. On the other hand, Mercedes Benz and BMW failed to perform.
