Audi India managed to pull off an unlikely feat by booking 500 Audi Q3 Crossover in just five days that too from Indian market which is struggling to recover from slowdown. This is even matching or even surpassing the craze for Audi Q5 and Audi Q7 which are bigger SUVs than the Q3. The auto industry experts believe that it is a kind of record which Audi India set in the Indian market by offering the luxury car segment in the competitive prices. For Audi India, the competitive pricing of Q3 Crossover has done the trick. Q3 Crossover comes with a single diesel engine option.

Now, the demand has surpassed supply of Q3 crossover in the India market, as Audi India sold out full batch of 2012 Q3. Now, it is expected that Audi India may announce fresh bookings of Q3 Crossover to cater to the rising demand of the vehicle as it has not only received good response in India but also in other parts of the world, it is a big seller. Audi India manufacture Q3 crossover in Aurangabad in Maharashtra by making use of complete knocked down (CKD) kits. Q3 comes with 2 litre TDI turbo diesel engine producing 177 bhp and its peak torque is 350 Nm.

Since, the German car company is assembling the cars in India; it has managed to offer the cars in competitive prices. Audi India has shown a lot of aggression in the Indian market. It was the Audi Q5 which was the first Audi India car assembled in the country. Now, Audi India is planning to assemble more cars in India. The next in the line is Q7 crossover. The sources said that it would begin by the end of 2012. That means India car lovers would have another Audi India car which would be made available in competitive prices.
