Audi Q1 to hit global roads in 2016
It is reported that German car maker Audi will bring its upcoming crossover Q1 sometimes during the first quarter of 2016. The sale of crossover will begin from Europe and would be one of the easily affordable crossovers that will attract most of the crossover enthusiasts. The entry level trim of Q1 would be priced € 25,000 (Rs. 19.67 lakh).According to reports the upcoming crossover would be based on platform used in its sibling Q3 and therefore would carry most of its resemblance from Q3. That means launch of Q1 will impact to sale of Q3 which is priced at € 29,600 (Rs. 23.29 lakh). It is anticipated to offered in both petrol and diesel disguises.
The petrol trim is expected to be offered with three engine options in petrol version i.e., 1.4, 1.8 and 2 litre petrol engines, while the diesel trim will be bestowed with 2 litre diesel engine. It is also reported that the crossover would be embellished with superior features offered in segment. As far as Indian car market concerned it is speculated to hit Indian roads after making its debut in European market. In Indian car market it would be placed under Q3 which is one of the high demanding crossover in India.
