Audi Q3 facelift launched in Indian car market, priced Rs. 28.99 lakh
German luxurious car maker Audi has launched the refreshed version of its highly acclaimed SUV Q3 in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 28.99 lakh. It is for the first time after its launch that Audi has upgraded Q3 with some remarkable and contemporary cosmetic changes. The Audi Q3 2015 will now compete against BMW 1 Series, Mercedes Benz GLA and Volvo V40.
Under the hood Q3 will continue the same existing engine configuration of 2.0 litre 35 TDI 4 cylinder engine boosting the power of 174 bhp and torque of 380Nm. It is mated with 7 speed S-Tronic gearbox system along with 6 speed manual gear transmission system. The SUV has been offered in Quattro all wheel drive and front wheel drive options. It is reported that German car maker is also speculating to bring the petrol version of SUV in coming months
Talking about cosmetic changes that are introduced refreshed Q3 includes black colored hexagonal grille with chrome and matte silver surroundings. This grille is decorated with newly introduced headlamps offered with option of LED light. The rear portion is decorated with newly developed LED tail lamps, newly developed rear bumpers along with newly developed turn indicators and new alloy wheels. Inside the cabin not many changes have been introduced. The cabin is now offered with color options including black color and black-beige mix color. The faux wood now receives new aluminum inserts with new MMI system supported with navigation system, 20 GB hard disk with two SC card slots. The central console now receives new 3D aluminum inlays, new steering wheel and few more new features.
