Audi Q3 S: Expected to Kiss Indian Roads on August 19, 2013
Keeping the shift of Indian car buyers towards low priced cars in concern, various luxurious car manufacturers have now started focusing on manufacture of such cars which are enriched with latest technical features and priced within the budget of every customer. As the result of this last few months have witnessed cut throat competition among renowned luxury car manufacturing companies like BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. With an objective of giving pace to existing competition between Mercedes Benz A and B class, followed by E63 AMG and GL-Class SUV, with Audi's RS5 and S6, Audi is speculating to launch the advanced version of its basic variant Audi Q3 SUV as Audi Q3S.
The new Audi Q3 S will be empowered with 2.0 litre diesel engine that will churn out the power of 140 bhp and will be matted with 6 speed manual gearbox that will be used for transiting the power to front wheels. The new version will be enriched with genuine features for instance climate control, MMI with Bluetooth connectivity, leather seats, voice dialogue system, etc. However due to its low cost the new variant will not be blessed with praise worthy features for which Audi is recognized, for instance Q3 S will not be enriched with Quattro technology. But going through its cost the adorned features are expected to give the true value of money to customers.
It is reported that Audi Q3 S will make its way in India through Completely Knocked Down unit and all parts will be assimilated at company's unit located at Aurangabaad. Moving towards the price, it has not be yet revealed by company sources, but it would be important to keep in concern that determination of Prices has always been an issue for luxury car manufacturers in Indian market. But still according to speculations of car experts the new Audi Q S 3 will be priced around Rs 25 lakhs (ex-showroom price). Though whatever the price will be one thing which is quite sure is that Q3 S will be a strong contender for Mercedes Benz A class and forthcoming BMW 1 Series.
