Audi Q3 to be launched by end of Indian summer’2012
Premium auto maker from Germany, Audi will launch its most looked-for model Audi Q3 that will take on the likes of hot selling BMW X1. The four-wheel-drive vehicle has been spied testing many times and it became more frequent after it’s unveiling at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The 5-door compact coupe crossover will be made available in India by this June’2012. The third and latest sibling to existing Audi Q5 and Audi Q7 will fall under the competitive price range of INR 23 Lakh to INR 25 Lakh (Ex Showroom, Delhi). To lure the Indian buyers the compact SUV will primarily boast a 2.0L diesel heart.

The 4-cylinder TDi engine will generate a 177 PS of maximum power at a commendable rev. per minute along with fitting peak torque figures. After the launch of diesel powered variant there are all chances that Audi will also unleash the same displacement petrol version with direct injection of fuel distribution by the last quarter of this calendar year. The Audi Q3 will be positioned above the super-mini crossover Audi A1.

The launch of this model in India is a result of German auto giant’s promise of introducing three vehicles in 2012. The other two models are improved Audi TT coupe and Audi S6, which is the high performance sports version of Audi A6. The company has grown and is growing by leaps and bounds in India, as it has registered an 84 percent growth in the concluded calendar year 2011 as compared to 2010.
