Audi RS 7 launched by German car maker in India
German luxurious car maker Audi has launched the sportier variant of A7 in Indian car market named as Audi RS7 Sportback with price tag of Rs. 1.29 crore (ex-showroom in Mumbai). Before launching this sedan in India Audi had unveiled the same variant in the first quarter of 2013 during Detroit Motor Show. The fascinating feature of this sportier sedan is its dynamic bumpers followed by RS7 badge. It is empowered with 4.0 litre twin turbocharged TFSI engine developing the torque of 560 bhp and torque of 700 Nm. It is coated with eight speed Tiptronic automatic transmission system transmitting the power to both front and rear wheels through Quattro four wheel drive system.
The sedan accelerates the speed from standstill to 100 kmph within the span of 3.9 seconds and is capable for picking the top speed of 250 kmp. The worth mentioning feature of this car along with start-stop function is its cylinder deactivation system which is endorsed to enhance its fuel efficiency about 20 percent by switching off four cylinders.
The newly launched RS 7 carries the interiors which are similar to S7 followed by 20 inch wheels, sports suspension as regular features. After entering in Indian car market RS7 will emerge as tough contender to its German competitors Mercedes Benz CLS and BMW M5 in the same segment.
