Audi to begin sale of SQ7 from mid of May 2016

German car maker Audi has said that it will start the sale of its proposed SUV SQ7 from the second week of this month. Endorsed to be the most powerful SUV in world it is speculated that it will be offered with starting price of €89,900 (approx. 68.44 lakh) in Germany and will compete against Mercedes Benz AMG GL63 and BMW X5M. The SUV will be empowered with 4.0 litre TDI engine with an electric powered compressor (EPC) boosting the power of 435 bhp and torque of 900 Nm. Engine will be mated with eight speed automatic transmission system and will be offered with Quattro All-Wheel Drive system.

With mind blowing generation efficiency of 435 bhp the giant SUV will touch the notch from zero to 100 kmph in the span of 4.8 second followed by top notch of 250 kmph. With an objective to differentiate the upcoming SUV with standard Q7 it has been developed with enlarged front and rear bumpers, LED headlights and enlarged 20 inch wheels. Inside the cabin it will sport Alcantar leather upholstery, three spoke multi functional steering wheel with paddle shifters along with adaptive air suspension system. With this the buyers will have an option of three driving packages namely Quattro with Sport Differential, All wheel steering and Roll stabilisation.
Once launched in European car market the SUV will move its way to Indian car market sometimes by the end of this year will expected price of Rs. 1 Crore (ex-showroom).
