Awaited cars in month of October 2015
The commencement of festive season is always highly awaited season for car manufacturers as all of them do not leave any stone unturned to lure buyers with new offers and launches to enjoy huge sale by exploiting the season. This year also festive season has started witnessing launch of Mahindra TUV 300, refreshed Ford Figo, Renault KWID and Mercedes Maybach S600 and S500 during the month of September. Now as the month of October has started and festive season has got closer car enthusiasts are waiting for launch of new attractions during the month. Although the cars which will be launched during the month of October have yet to debut in Indian car market but still there are some cars which have grabbed attention of car enthusiasts quite early before their launch and are keenly awaited by enthusiasts. Some of these cars are referred below:
Chevrolet Trailblazer: Refreshed version of Trailblazer SUV from U.S. based car maker Chevrolet is expected to make its debut on October 21, 2015. The proposed SUV would be energized with 2.8 litre engine boosting the power of 200 bhp and torque of 500 Nm.
It will be blessed with features like rear parking camera, cruise control, music system supporting connectivity with Bluetooth, climate control and six way adjustable power seats. It will be offered in automatic transmission system with rear wheel drive option. In Indian car market it would be brought through CBU route and after launch it will compete against Pajero from Mitsubishi and Fortuner from Toyota. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 27 lakh.
Fiat Abarth Punto: Abarth Punto hatchback from Italian car maker is one of the highly awaited hatchbacks in Indian car market. To be priced around Rs. 9 lakh and will be offered only in petrol variant which would be boosted with 1.4 litre turbocharged T-Jet petrol engine churning the power of 143 bhp and torque of 200 Nm.
With premium accessories the hatchback is expected to receive luxurious interiors along with five spoke alloy wheels and badges of Abarth at various places. The car will be manufactured in local market.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno: Name of Baleno is not now in Indian car market but of-course a forgotten name and therefore with an objective to refresh the memories of Baleno in minds of Indian car enthusiasts country’s leading car manufacturer MSIL is going re-launch the Baleno in form of hatchback this time during festive season. Proposed to launch on October 26, 2015 the hatchback would be launched in both petrol and diesel variants with diesel engine equipped with SHVS system making it a hybrid hatchback.
The major attractions of Maruti Suzuki Baleno hatchback are expected to be SAT-NAV system, start-stop button, rear camera and touchscreen music system. Once launched in Indian car market it will compete against Honda Jazz and Elite i20. It is expcte3d to be priced between Rs. Rs 5.30 lakh and Rs 8.25 lakh
It would be interested to know that although the future of these cars is hidden in future but at present they are highly awaited guests of Indian car industry.
