Bangkok International Motor Show: Mitsubishi showcases its cars for Indian car market
The first day of Bangkok International Motor Show which started yesterday witnessed display of future models by International car makers. To begin with Mitsubishi the Japanese group of company showcased its upcoming car models for Indian car market in coming future. The major models showcased by Japanese group included AT version of Pajero Sport variant, new hatchback by company named as Mirage and the sedan named as Attrage.

The first vehicle displayed by company was Automatic Pajero Sport. As it is known that company is already selling the Sport variant of its SUV Pajero in Indian car market. The new automatic variant apart from being blessed with automatic transmissions system also gardens various cosmetic changes on exterior and interiors including INVECS-II Sportronic which transits power to front and rear wheels. After launch the automatic version of Pajero Sport will compete with automatic version of existing SUV’s like Toyota Fortuner, Hyndai Santa Fe, Ssangyong Rexton, Chevrolet Captiva and others.
Moving ahead another vehicle displayed by Mitsubishi was a hatchback Mirage which will be empowered with 1.2 litre three cylinder petrol engine developing the power 76.9 bhp and torque of 100 Nm, it will be coated with five speed manual transmission system and also by CVT automatic transmission system. It is rumored that company may launch the hatchback in Indian car market in 2016 after which it will compete against Honda Brio, Nissan Micra, Datsun Go, and Hyundai i10. Apart from this the third vehicle showcased by company was a sedan named as Attrage, which will be mainly developed on the same platform as used in Mirage hatchback and will compete with Renault Scala, Hyundai Verna and Honda City.
