Beijing Motor Show Highlights
In China, it is surely raining cars and only cars. Where the first day saw the Volkswagen E-Bugsters convertible version and Honda Concept C as the show stoppers, and Lamborghini unveiling the powerful SUV Lamborbhini Urus, the second day today also saw a lot of displays. The Auto exhibition based on ‘leading through Innovation’ has plans to exhibit the latest of the auto offerings from car makers across the globe. Almost all the leading car makers have slated to exhibit best of their offerings at the summer of auto world. The exhibition will be opened to public on April 27 to May 2 after the press day is over today.
As per the sources, other major unveils at the most prominent auto show were - Toyota's latest NS4 Plug-In Hybrid concept car, Bentley SUV concept car, Peugeot 'Urban Crossover' concept car, Infiniti Emerg-E concept car, the latest Jeep, Mini Cooper S, BMW i3 Concept, new BMW 3-series long wheel base 335L model, Mercedes Benz Style Coupe, Mazda's Mazda5, Mazda CX-5 SUV and the one that need a special mention is the Ford Ecosport SUV that is almost a production ready model. With this, the Beijing Motor Show is becoming hot and hotter each day.
Meanwhile, there are other cars that need a special mention and were also displayed at the Beijing Auto Expo. There are Nissan Sylphy compact sedan that has made its debut in China, Fiat Viaggio, Honda Concept S MPV that is scheduled to be launched in China in 2013, Honda Concept C mid-size sedan targeting China (expected launch next year), new Ford Fusion, New Nissan Sentra and Chrysler 300 Ruyi Design Concept that will mark the reentry of Chrysler in China. The Beijing Motor Show will be open to public from April 27 to May 2.
