The former boosts power of 83 bhp and torque of 115Nm, while the later generates power of 73bhp and torque of 190Nm. The transmission system includes five speed manual gearbox and also CVT automatic transmission system.
3. Tata Tiago: Tata Tiago can be considered as energy booster for domestic car maker Tata Motors. Offered in both petrol and diesel variants comprising of 1.2 litre and 1.03 litre engines respectively. The transmission system includes ficve speed manual gearbox. The hatchback fall in the range between Rs. 3.20 lakh and Rs. 5.54 lakh (ex-showroom price).
4. Hyundai Elite i20: The ICOTY of 2014 is offered with engine option in petrol variant of 1.2 litre petrol variant boosting the power of 81 bhp and torque of 114Nm and other with 1.4 litre engine boosting the power of 99 bhp and torque of 132Nm. The diesel is empowered with 1.4 litre engine churning the power of 88 bhp and torque of 219Nm. The price range includes Rs. 5.59 lakh to Rs. 9.01 lakh (ex-showroom).
