Bhopal Auto Expo 2012 starts today, entry passes released
An auto expo has commenced in Bhopal today with an objective to boost up the auto components and engineering export from Madhya Pradesh (MP). Moreover, this auto expo would pay emphasis in availing the buyers and sellers in negotiating the business flukiness.
Bhopal Auto Expo would be held for three days and would be conducted jointly by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and MP Trade and Investment Facilitation Corporation Ltd (TRIFAC).Speaking about the to be held event, TRIFAC Managing Director, P K Das stated that a buyers-seller meet and an exhibition would also be held.

Total 63 companies including 19 foreign companies are going to be a part of this event. Madhya Pradesh government would be representing the “Destination MP” event in order to favor and enhance industrial development in the state and would also showcase MP as one of the prime destinations for business investments.
P K Das stated that the total export of MP accounts for Rs. 10,000-12,000 crores, while the share of engineering and automotive component sector is merely Rs. 1,642 crores. He added that there is ample of scope for the enhancement for these two sectors in Madhya Pradesh. He further affirmed that Madhya Pradesh would also be in limelight this year due to the Third Global Investors Meet, which shall be held in Indore from this 28th October to 30th October, this year.
