Blaze de Rajasthan Rally announced by Tata Motors

The motorsports division of the Tata Motors, Tata Motors Full Throttle has recently announced an off-road event called the Blaze de Rally Rajasthan that will include adventure and motor sport lovers from all over the country. The initial commencement and culmination of the rally will be held in Jaipur itself from 9th June to 10th June 2012 with a rally distance of about 300 Kms to be covered by the participants.

The Event will include participation in three categories, namely, 2WD, 4WD and women’s team. The participants are welcome to bring in any make of their choice for the rally. The rally requires no experience from the participants and hence a lot of new faces are expected. The well-known TSD phenomenon including the main characteristics of Time, Speed and Distance will be measured and keenly watched throughout the adventure sport.

The Rajasthan terrain will comprise of city tracks, hill sections as well as of sand in the Thar. Thar Motorsports are partners for the even providing skill, medical and logistics support for the expedition.

Besides, Tata Motors Full throttle has also launched two more off-roading opportunities for its customers, one being the Tata Motors Full Throttle experience and the other called the Tata Motors Full Throttle Trails. Out of these, the Full Throttle Experience will be waved on from New Delhi on 22June covering a span for a number of days. On the other hand, the Full Throttle trails are half day off-road events with total 21 trails.

The Motorsport venture was initiated by Tata Motors in February last year and has carved a niche for off-road adventure enthusiast ever since that has greatly helped the company in testing and development.
