BMW cars in India get their first ever brand Ambassador – Sachin Tendulkar

Master blaster cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has become the brand ambassador of BMW cars in India. Sachin on various occasions has said that he is a fan of Ferrari cars and he also owns one. Now his association with BMW will further his passion for cars. The announcement was made on the occasion of new BMW 3 Series car launch here in Mumbai. The new 3 Series is awaited for long and now that it has been launched it has created much more sensation as now BMW has associated Sachin Tendulkar as the brand Ambassador. The New BMW 320d price in India is kept at Rs 28.9 lakh while the top of the line New BMW 328 Sport Line price is Rs 37.9 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.

Sachin Tendulkar at BMW 3 Series launch

The appointment of Tendulkar as the brand ambassador will be benefitting the car maker a lot as he the top notch personality in the cricketing world. Being a fan of cars, it also goes well with Tendulkar’s personality. He owns a Ferrari car, and also has BMW 5 Series and BMW X5 in his lot. His wife Anjali has 3 Series car. The launch was more than a sensation and in fact, it was Sachin at the centre of attraction rather than 6th generation 3 series launch. This is the second innings of being a brand ambassador as the master blaster was previously promoted Fiat cars.

The association of a celebrity such as Sachin Tendulkar is expected to boost the brand awareness as well as it will further strengthen the brand’s position in India and will also keep it on the top position. Meanwhile, there must have been a commotion in the pavilion of Audi and Mercedes Benz. The 3 Series is the closest rival of Audi A4 but the 3 Series price is still higher than Audi A4.
