BMW gets closer to buyers, reduces prices of its portfolio
Going through increasing localization of equipments installed in its cars German luxurious car maker BMW has revised the prices of cars that are locally manufactured in Indian car market. The car maker started its manufacturing operations at its production unit at Chennai in India during 2007. Company is producing BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 3 Series Gran Turismo, 5 Series, 7 Series, X1, X3 and X5.
Addressing the announcement of decline in prices of BMW Cars Mr. Philipp von Sahr, India President, BMW Group, said that in future Indian car market will dominate the world and if any car maker is seriously willing to enjoy the benefits of that period that then they should start making their strategy from today. Moving ahead Mr. Sahr said that following our concept that production follows the market company has initiated the localization program in India. According to Mr. Sahr, company has created a beneficial situation for its customers offering them qualitative products at an impressive price, thus endorsing the slogan of Make in India.
