BMW joins hands with Kochi-Muziris Biennale
BMW is a well known German car maker, who is prominent for manufacturing high-quality, luxurious cars. Now, the luxury car maker has come in alliance with Kochi-Muziris Biennale, which is India’s first ever festival of International Contemporary Art. The festival has already begun from 12th December 2012 and will be continued till 13th March 2013 in Kochi, Muziris. The Biennale deeds to develop a cultural impact both internationally and locally. It brings in artists from world to India and provides a global platform for the Indian artists. These artists show case modern visual art in galleries and halls. More than 80 artists are selected from 35 countries to participate in this event this year.

During the period of this exhibition, Biennale exhibition will also feature numerous seminars, screenings, workshops, seminars and many more actives for the students and children of all age. To celebrate such initiatives, even BMW opened up BMW Guggenheim Lab on 9th of December 2012 in Mumbai, where this auto major enlarges its cultural rendezvous in projects related to problems of city life. The alliance between BMW and Kochi Biennale is quite prominent as it will help in developing significant enriching project, with a theme of ‘cosmopolitanism and inclusiveness’.
