Jaguar Land Rover India has started receiving bookings for its premium electric SUV I-Pace Black in the Indian car market. In its new version, the electric SUV comes with additional features like Black Pack and a panoramic sunroof. Commenting about the integration of the I-Pace Black feature in the SUV, Rohit Sure, President and Managing Director, JLR India, said, "The I-PACE Black enhances the appeal of this multi-award-winning battery electric vehicle, making it even more distinctive and desirable".  The Indian subsidiary of the British carmaker had launched the I-Pace electric in March this year.

 

 

The Jaguar Land Rover I-Pace Black receives the power from a 90kWh battery that generates the power of 294kW and the torque of 696 Nm. It is capable of touching the mark of 10 km/hr from the standstill in 4.8 seconds. The charger options include a 7.4 kW AC and a 25 kW DC (for the fast charging). To offer an instant charging facility to the buyers, the company has upgraded its 22 retail outlets in the country by installing more than 35 EV chargers.

 

The company has offered a complimentary five years service package to the buyers of this electronic SUV. It also offers a five years roadside assistance package along with an eight-years or a 1.6 lakh km battery warranty. To update the features like the infotainment system, battery management and charging the company has integrated the SUV with Software over the Air (SOTA) feature.
