Bookings of Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift started
Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) country’s leading car manufacturer has started the bookings of facelift Swift hatchback on the down payment of Rs. 10,000 at its dealers across the Indian car market. The deliveries of facelift Swift are expected to commence from the month of November. It is speculated that the facelift version of Swift will also enjoy the same taste of success as enjoyed by the existing version Swift. According to reports the stock of existing Swift with dealers has almost exhausted.
The facelift Swift would continue the existing engine configuration of 1.2 litre K-Series petrol engine boosting the power of 86bhp and torque of 114NM. The diesel variant would also continue the existing 1.3 litre DDiS diesel engine producing the power of 74bhp and torque of 190Nm. Both the engine would be offered with five speed manual gearbox. It is reported that car maker will make the new version more fuel efficient as compared to outgoing model.
The cosmetic updates that will be offered in facelift Swift would embellish safety features like ABS+EBD, Electronic Stability Program, front and side airbags, electrically adjustable ORVMs, keyless entry, reverse parking sensors and many more. According to reports the major updates would be offered in top end variants of the hatchback which will include chrome door handles, new alloy wheel design, L shaped accents on foglamp placement. Although company has not disclosed anything about the price specifications but it is expected to be launched with price tag falling between Rs. 4.5 lakh to Rs. 7 lakh.
