Bookings of Tata Tiago starts: Launching on March 28, 2016
Domestic car maker Tata Motors is all set to launch its upcoming hatchback Tiago which earlier was proposed to be launched as Zica in county. The launch of hatchback is scheduled for March 28, 2016 and for this car maker has commenced the bookings with down payment of Rs. 10,000. According to reports company has even dispatched the first consignment of hatchback to its respective dealers. Prior to this Tata had showcased the hatchback during Indian Auto Expo 2016 held in Delhi.
Speculated to be offered in the price range between Rs. 3.9 lakh and Rs. 5.5 lakh, Tiago will be offered in both petrol and diesel variants which will be empowered with 1.2 litre three cylinder Revotron petrol engine and 1.0 litre three cylinder Revotorq engine configurations boosting the power of 83.8 bhp and 69 bhp respectively. Both the engines will be coated with five speed manual gearbox system. According to reports company will introduce AMT system in hatchback during coming months. It will be offered in eye catching Pearlescent white, Berry Red, Striker Blue, Platinum Silver, Sunburst Orange, and Espresso Brown colours.
To keep its strong contenders like Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Hyunda i10 in dust, Tiago will be embellished with bunch of contemporary features like steering mounted audio controls, cooled glove box, Harman infotainment system with eight speakers. On the safety front it will bestow features like ABS, EBD and Corner Stability Control.
