BS-VI Compliant CNG S-Presso Launched By Maruti Suzuki
The Indo-Japanese carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the BS6 compliant S-CNG variant of its mini-SUV S-PRESSO in the Indian car market with the starting price of Rs. 4.84 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The S-CNG variant of S-PRESSO is offered with a 1.0-liter engine that is capable of delivering an average of 31.2 km/kg. According to the company sources, the S-CNG vehicles are equipped with dual interdependent electronic control units and an intelligent injection system that boosts the performance and drivability of the vehicles while driving on varied roads.
As far as any cosmetic changes are concerned, the S-CNG S-PRESSO continues with the existing features and looks. The LXi trim continues to be offered with a power steering air conditioner, speed alert system, front seatbelt reminders, vehicle immobilizer, driver airbag, rear parking sensors, ABS, and thirteen-inch steel wheels as standard features. However, the top-end variant is offered with additional features like a seven-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system that supports connectivity with smartphones (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) and voice recognition system, rear parcel tray, steering mounted controls, front seatbelt pre-tensioners, parking brake warning system, and a few more.
