Buying A Car To Get Expensive From January 2018
If you are planning to bring your dream car then it is the best time to make your dream come true due to year end benefits offered by most of the car manufacturers. As according to recent reports all major car makers are going hike the prices of their entire range with effect from January 1, 2018. It is reported that domestic car maker Tata Motors has announced to hike the prices of its entire portfolio up-to Rs. 25,000 with the start of next year. It is reported that the decision regarding hike in the prices has been taken due to increasing cost of inputs.

Prior to this Japanese car maker Toyota Motors had announced to hike the prices of its vehicles up-to 3% over their existing price tag, whereas another home grown car maker Mahindra and Mahindra had announced to hike its price range from 1.5% to 3%. The U.S. based car maker Ford has announced to hike the prices of its portfolio between 1 % and 3%, whereas other Japanese car maker Honda cars will introduce the hike up-to 2 percent on its existing passenger vehicles.
Commenting on the price hike, Mr. Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicle Business, Tata Motors said, "The changing market conditions, rising input costs and various external economic factors have compelled us to consider the price increase. We are optimistic on maintaining our growth trajectory in the coming year on the back of our robust product portfolio like Tiago, Hexa, Tigor and the recently-launched Nexon."
It would be interested to know that the domestic car had already initiated its year-end offer campaign under which it offers the facility of insurance and exchange benefits up-to Rs. 1 lakh followed by the facility of 100 percent finance. Following the same practice Honda cars has also announced the discount ranging from Rs. 21,200 to Rs. 1.5 lakh.
The discounts offered by different companies could be availed till December 31, 2017.
