Buying Ford Cars To Get Costlier From April 27, 2021
Ford India has hiked the prices of its entire range with immediate effect from April 27, 2021. The price hike ranges from Rs 3,000 to Rs 80,000 and applicable on all the products including Figo, Aspire, Freestyle, EcoSport, and Endeavour. This price hike however does not affect few of the selected variants from these models.The Indian alliance of the US-based carmaker has not revealed any reason for this price hike, and it is believed to be a regular revision of the prices due to hike in the cost of raw materials.

To begin with Figo hatchback, it receives an increase of Rs 18,000 applicable on all of its trims. The new price of the Figo’s base variant now starts from Rs 5.82 lakh and goes high up-to Rs 8.37 lakh for the top-end variant. The prices of the compact sedan Aspire has been hiked up-to Rs 3,000, whereas the prices of Freestyle have been hiked up-to Rs 18,000. The EcoSport Titanium (diesel variant) has witnessed the hike of Rs 20,000. Whereas the prices of Endeavour have been increased up-to Rs 80,000 for the entire range.
Apart from Ford, the Japanese carmaker Toyota has also hiked the prices of its entire portfolio due to increasing cost of production. It is reported that all the major car manufacturers are planning to hike the prices of their models from May 2021.
