Camouflaged Fiat Crossover Spied on Indian Roads
From long time it has been rumored that Fiat is working on introducing the crossover edition of its hatchback Punto in Indian car market, as it was spied being tested on roads in Italy. Now it is reported that some spies have succeeded in spying Fiat Crossover going test drive on Indian roads. It would be interested to know that the craze towards Fiat Crossover got fired after success enjoyed by Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport. It is reported that Fiat India will showcase the crossover during the Indian Auto Expo.
According to industry experts the crossover will be offered in both petrol and diesel variants with petrol variant equipped with 1.4 litre engine churning the power of 89 bhp and developing the torque of 115 Nm, whereas the diesel variant will be equipped with 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine producing the power of 90 bhp or 75 bhp. As far as the design of crossover is concerned it is expected to carried from its existing hatchback Grande Punto. Similarly the same pattern is expected to be followed while designing the interiors of this crossover.
Apart from crossover it is expected that company will showcase the facelift version of Fiat linea and the new version of GrandePunto as Abarth Punto during the Indian Auto Expo.
