Car launch in India March 2012: Three cars launched in every 10 days

The concluded month of March’12 that stated the end of financial year 2011-12 observed as many as 10 car launches in the country with one thing alike in all of them. What’s that? Start finding no, no… no need to Google it out, it’s very simple and straightforward.

Let’s explore the same and check it out, what were they exactly. All the vehicles were either some exciting facelifts or upgrades of their earlier prominent models or an addition of all-new variant in the existing array.

New Hyundai i20

The premium hatchback of the country got ‘more’ premium with adding up of some finest and irresistible ‘first in segment’ elements and the new entrant called Hyundai iGen i20. And these comprise of Rain Sensing Wipers to stay hassle free during bad weather, Rear view camera with display in cabin-mirror for optimum safety along with Power ORVMs with heated function and Electro chromic mirror with anti-glare for Night vision. Whereas Darkness sensing automatic headlamps that switch-on as visibility drops.

New Chevrolet Tavera Neo3 BSIV

This year till now there has been not a single month that has passed by without the news of Chevrolet Tavera. In January, the 2012/uplifted version was unveiled at Auto Expo, February saw official launch of BSIII version, and lately Chevrolet Tavera Neo3 hits the showroom of major cities with its BSIV compliant engine variant. The MUV was a completely modified to challenge the likes of Innova and Xylo with its revitalizing new features inside-out.  

Volkswagen Vento Comfortline

Best selling sedan Volkswagen Vento’s array was stretched with the arrival of new diesel variant in the form of Comfortline. The new mid variant trim is said to be introduced on the basis of customer’s continuous requisite to the company. There are numerous up to date elements inside the Volkswagen sedan that are capable to threat its competitors in the segment.

Ford Fiesta Ambiente

Better late than never, the launch of this low priced Fiesta variant shows that the company was closely observing the performance of the sensational sedan in the market. The two base variants of petrol and diesel models; which are LXI and ZDI respectively, will be seen catering to the cabbies or the fleet operators of the country.     

New Hyundai Sonata

The much talked about fluidic version of Hyundai Sonata was set free to rule the sedan segment of the country. New Audi TT
