Car that runs on water

The Mahindra Reva NXR is coming this Diwali to change the face of mobility. The Chevrolet Beat Diesel is there with 25.44 kmpl and there is Tata Nano with 25 kmpl on petrol but all these cars have to be fed with electricity, diesel or petrol. How about a car that runs on water? Yes, it is the latest invent by one Pakistani engineer. A car that runs on water. If that reaches to commercial production, it will be the car that will be making the headlines and the only car that will be the best seller, the best car, the most fuel efficient car and what not.

India specially is obsessed with mileage and even the luxury car and SUV buyers too have been seen asking the question “Kitna Deti Hai” when petrol or diesel or CNG cease to matter at this stage and only power, performance and safety matter. But the small car segment is dominated by cars that are not only priced less but are also fuel efficient. Tata Nano is the best mileage car in petrol while Chevrolet Beat Diesel and Tata Indica eV2 are the fuel efficient cars in diesel. On the other hand there are best mileage cars in every segment. In the MPV segment there is Maruti Ertiga, in the SUV segment there is recently launched Renault Duster, in the sedan segment there is Tata Indigo eCS, Toyota Etios and Maruti Swift Dzire.

As per the reports about the car that runs on water, the Pakistani engineer Waqar Ahmad gas designed the car and has also showcased it to the regional parliamentarians and he has been assured that the government will be funding the project. As per the details of the water run car project, the car uses water as the basic fuel and converts it into hydrogen gas through the hydrogen bonding with distilled water. However the feasibility of the conversion is under scanner.
