Change in top managerial hierarchy by Volkswagen India

Volkswagen India, the Indian arm of German car maker has introduced necessary changes in its top level management of Indian operations. According to sources of company Mr. Mahesh Kodumudi, President and Managing Director, Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd, will now act as Group Chief Representative with immediate effect. Mr. Kodumudi will replace the outgoing Group Chief Representative Mr. Arvind Saxena who was associated with VW passenger cars division from last eighteen months.
 
Prior to this last year Mr. Kodumudi was deputed with additional responsibility of acting as the head of VW Group Sales India Pvt Ltd, due to resignation of Mr. Gerasimos Dorizas who left the group due to personal matters. Mr. Kodumudi will continue working with same responsibilities till May 1, 2014, after which Mr. Thierry Lespiaucq, working as Volkswagen Brand Director, Volkswagen De Mexico will take over him as the Managing Director, VW, Sales group India Pvt Ltd.
 
Mr. Thierry Lespiaucq, joined the Vokswagen Group France in May 2004 under capacity of Director, VW Group, France. Prior to this he was working as CEO of Renault-Nissan Suisse and Toyota France.
