US based Leading Car makers, General Motors is ready to launch diesel version of its hatchback Chevrolet Beat for the Indian buyers in coming weeks. The car model is expected to send a trill in Indian auto market with its attractive pricing. If the speculations are to be believed, the car will lie in the range of Rs. 4.5 to 5 lakh.
The revamped Chevrolet Beat diesel will be an affordable option for car buyers who want to own a diesel car and will keep the Chevrolet Beat series of cars in competition with Maruti Swift, Ford Figo and Volkswagen Polo.

The new Chevrolet Beat diesel will comprise of 1.0L engine and expected to give a mileage of 24 kmpl. The anticipated price of the new Beat diesel is in the range of Rs 4 to 5 lakh. General Motors look forward to new Chevrolet Beat diesel to drive its sales figures in the Indian Auto market.
Reported by a reliable source, Vice president (Sales, Marketing & After-Sales) of General Motors stated, the engine for Beat diesel is developed specially for India after lots of research and development. The engine will be fuel efficient. The company has plans to launch the car Beat diesel by the end of July.
