Chevrolet Beat diesel launched, priced at Rs 4.29 lakh
World’s largest passenger car manufacturer General Motors has launched its one of the most awaited model, the diesel version of Chevrolet Beat in the Indian auto market. The company has launched Chevrolet Beat diesel in four trims which PS, LS, LT and LT Option, these variants will be priced in the range of Rs 4.29 lakh to 5.25 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new Chevrolet Beat diesel is the company’s first hatchback car in the Indian car market.

The new Chevrolet Beat diesel will be equipped with 1.0L, 936cc, 3 Cylinder DOHC diesel engine which can deliver the maximum power of 57 bhp at 4000 rpm with 150 Nm of maximum torque at 1750 rpm. The new 1.0L diesel engine is developed as a joint venture between Fiat and General Motors and it delivers the superior fuel efficiency of 24 kmpl in ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) test conditions.

Chevrolet Beat Diesel PS - Rs 4.29 Lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Chevrolet Beat Diesel LS - Rs 4.59 Lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Chevrolet Beat Diesel LT - Rs 4.99 Lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Chevrolet Beat Diesel LT Option - Rs 5.45 Lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The new Chevrolet Beat diesel is equipped with advanced features which offer excellent driving experience and ensure safe journey. Some of these features are EPS (Electronic Power Steering), Automatic Climate Control AC, Front and Rear Power Windows, Central Locking, Rear Defogger, Dual Front Airbags, Front Seatbelts with Load Limiters and ABS (Antilock Brake System), etc.
To boost up the Chevrolet Beat diesel sales, Chevrolet India is offering attractive offers like 3 years/1 lakh kilometre engine warranty with the “Chevrolet Promise” subsidized maintenance package of 3 years/45,000 kms.

i think they have got yhe pricing a little higher , as 4.29 should have been their on road price for entry level. <br />this is so because for a liitle more tata vista entry level is 4.60
