Chevrolet Beat Diesel to be launched in July first week
Chevrolet Beat diesel, the most anticipated car in the Indian market is all wired and ready to be launched in the first week of July, as reported by the media.
The car will be among the cheapest diesel car running on the Indian roads.
It was estimated that Chevrolet Beat will hit the roads in June this month but the launch has been delayed by a month.

This launch will give Chevrolet Beat a strong position in the Indian market and also enable it to give a strong competition to its contemporary cars in the same segment having both petrol and diesel versions like Maruti Swift, Ford Figo, Volkswagen Polo, Nissan Micra and Fiat Punto.
The engine specifications of Beat are also released.
It will be fitted with a 1.0L 3 cylinder Diesel engine which will deliver a maximum power of 55-57 bhp and a peak torque of 140 Nm at 1,750 rpm.
The car is expected to have a high fuel economy, ranging from 22-24 kmpl, giving a tough competition to its main rival Tata Indica eV2.
The car is expected to be priced about Rs 50,000 more then its petrol version that is around 4 lakh thus placing the diesel version in the segment of 5 lakh price range.
