Chevrolet: Ready to en-cash opportunity of 66th Independence Day

According to sources, on account of 66th Independence Day celebration in India company is going to offer huge discount to its expected customers on all its products. The discount offer will be available till August 15, 2013, under which customers will be offered the discount up-to Rs.66000 on all products manufactured under the flagship of Chevrolet. The discount scheme has been named as “Independence Day Celebration” This means that the customers will be able to enjoy discount on purchase of Cruze, Sail, Beat, and Spark.
Under Independence Day Celebration offer customers will be offered discount of Rs. 66000 and Rs. 58000 on the petrol and diesel variant of Beat in hatchback segment respectively. One more hatchback Spark will be available at discount of Rs. 58000. Moving ahead Chevrolet Sail in hatchback and sedan segment are offered the discount of Rs.33000 and Rs. 35000 respectively. On the other side Chevrolet Cruze in sedan segment will be offered at discount of Rs. 45000.
According to experts of car industry this move from Chevrolet is part of Chevrolet's specified marketing strategy to exploit the situation of Indian Independence day celebrations being held throughout the India. It would be important to mention here that in current scenario Indian car market is going through stifling situation and had witnessed decline in sales during last couple of months. Similarly on the other side due to regular decline in value of rupee has also played an important role in declining the sales of cars. This has compelled car manufacturer to determine new marketing strategies for their products as the result of which apart from offering huge discounts on their different variants they are also offering facility of free insurance and long term warranty on their cars followed by launch of limited editions of their famous and liked variants.
