Citroen C5 AirCross Bookings Start At the Payment of Rs 50,000
The French carmaker Citroen has commenced the bookings of its first flagship C5 Aircross SUV in India at the down payment of Rs. 50,000. The prospective buyers can book the SUV at the SUV through the Citroen India Website or via the La Maison dealership. To encourage the buyers for booking the SUV company has introduced a scheme in which the buyers booking the SUV between March 1st, 2021 to April 6th, 2021 will be offered complimentary maintenance packages of 5 years/ 50,000 km. The delivery of the SUVs booked during this period will be delivered to the owners up to June 30, 2021.
In India, the SUV would be brought through the completely-knocked-door (CKD) route and will be assembled at its units located in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. Under the hood, it will be empowered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine generating the power of 177 bhp and a torque of 400 Nm. The transmission duties will be performed by an eight-speed automatic gearbox system. The SUV is endorsed to deliver an ARAI certified average of 18.8 kmpl. It will be offered in two trims namely Feel and Shine.
The list of key features offered in C5 Aircross includes an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, powered driver seat, dual-zone climate control, six airbags, electronic stability program, auto-dimming inside the rearview mirror, rearview camera, hill descent and hill start assist, auto headlamps with wipers, hands-free parking, halogen headlamps with LED DRLs, and many more. These will be the standard features offered in both trims.
Besides them, the Shine variant will be offered a set of three additional features including a panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps, and a hands-free tailgate. The rear portion has a setup of three seats which can be individually folded and adjusted according to the requirement.
