Compact SUV from Chevrolet to be named as Adra
It is reported that Chevrolet will showcase its concept SUV named as Adra during the upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2014. The new SUV will be based on company’s small vehicle platform known as Gamma 2. The expected SUV Adra will be launched to compete with Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster and will be equipped with same 77 bhp 1.3 litre diesel engine as available in Sail and Enjoy.
Apart from this SUV company will also showcase the facelift beat during the auto expo featuring new bumpers and mirrors followed by newly designed head and tail lights, with this the another initiative from company will be seven seater Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV, Corvette C7 Stingray (which was unveiled during the Detroit Motor Show, 2013) and the Chevrolet Camaro.
As far as future plans of company are concerned it does not plan to offer its small global SUV Trax in Indian car market. Trax is 4.2 meters long and has been designed keeping in concern the requirement of European customers in mind.
